‘The Soul Food Store’, the latest 11-track album by Matt Pearce & The Mutiny, was released in 2022 through Mutinear Records.
Like his debut release the self-produced album features Matt as lead vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter, aided and abetted by some top tier London blues scene talent, and reached #1 in the Blues Charts.
Matt & The Mutiny’s steps into the live arena have been a huge success with storming shows all across the UK and as far afield as Russia.
Shows and festivals played include Planet Rockstock (as opening night headliner), HRH Blues and C.R.O.W.S, Planet Rock’s Winter’s End, Skegness Rock and Blues, Legends Of Rock, Winterstorm, Cambridge Rock Fest, British Blues Invasion Moscow, a UK tour with Laurence Jones, the prestigious Tuesday Night Music Club, and two successful shows at London’s Garage, the second of which made it into the Best Gigs Of 2021 lists of writers from MetalTalk and Record Collector.

Debut single 'Set Me Free' was playlisted by Planet Rock radio and became an Amazon Blues Song #1, and currently stands at 150,000 streams on Spotify to date.
