Matteo Madafferi is a multifaceted artist who has made music one of his main forms of expression. As the former frontman and songwriter of the band The Ties, he led the group to release the EP What’s Next, which topped Amazon’s digital sales chart for over a month. This success brought the band on tour across the UK and earned them a feature in Fred Perry’s iconic Subculture page as the only non-British band representing national identity. In 2018 became the frontman and songwriter of The Madicine Screwdriver Cub. Then he stars a solo career. In 2023, he released the single Tutta mia, which was broadcast in every subway station across Italy and reached over 260,000 global streams. His musical work often blends with strong visual and narrative elements, as seen in his recent blues-inspired animated music video project. Matteo is not only a songwriter but also oversees the direction and visual identity of his work, combining sound, storytelling, and aesthetics with an original and independent spirit.
