Hi there, I am real. I am not AI nor a fake artist. There really exists a <a href="spotify:artist:1JShgWc7ZWXxlqGENVf4qb" data-name="Matthew Adam">Matthew Adam</a> (real name too!). Anyhow, welcome to my artist page. My music creation journey began while studying drums at the ACM in Guildford, making synth based electronic beats and spacey atmospheric stuff on my laptop. During my degree, I co-founded <a href="spotify:artist:33q6asYL0DCzbo5FtBzXfD" data-name="WHITE WALL">WHITE WALL</a> with my buddy Stephen Hewitt, specialising in music for media, including games, adverts, short films etc. We released a short album called <a href="spotify:album:2uUcRLUhA8eT0eeAScPbCj" data-name="Warlord">Warlord</a>, go check that out :) Following that I worked with a film trailer company called IMPACT MUSIC. Eventually, high energy trailer music became fatiguing, and with my father being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and requiring more and more care, I decided to downsize my production as much as possible and just focus on piano. On August 15th 2023 my father passed away, I released a tribute track for him on his birthday titled <a href="spotify:album:5fCSR8YO5fgg8sciDpLzsU" data-name="Father & Son">Father & Son</a>. I now continue to write simple, minimalistic piano pieces in hopes it will resonate with people, however I hope to venture back into bigger orchestrations in the future.
