Hello, Im Sarvadarśin Rich Batsford. My main aim with my piano music has been to try and create something beautiful (to me at least, and hopefully others as well) and when I listen to it myself Im also becoming increasingly conscious of a sense of compassionate care coming through. Music has been a source of healing, joy and meaning throughout my life and as I go deeper into Buddhist practice as well, the more I feel that these two parts of my life are intertwined.
Musically, I get inspiration from both the classical and the modern.
I also make piano music as <a href="spotify:artist:06gX9DtFjd1muCd2b4qfxq" data-name="MettaForm">MettaForm</a> which I created especially for the gentler side of soft, soothing piano and ambient music as <a href="spotify:artist:6bxL1E03uES8ncuMKxttT2" data-name="Subhavani">Subhavani</a> blending modern electronica sounds with orchestral instruments and piano.
In the past I've also released an album of songs and I've also written several pieces of Buddhist Choral Music.
I hope that if you do have a chance to listen, I'll be very happy if my music brings even a small part of the comfort, ease and joy that music has so often brought to me.
