Matthew Kramer

Matthias Krämer, better known as Matthew Kramer, is a songwriter and producer from Frankfurt, Germany. Matthew Kramer primarily works within the field of electronic music, mainly Chillout and Trance.

With an interest for electronic music from an early age, he started building a small home studio in the 80'ies. Starting out on a commodore 64 - soon replaced by an Atari ST (Cubase) and later a PC - he got his first knowledge of digital music production. Krämer had his first experiences with live electronic music, mainly Techno, in Frankfurt clubs such as Music Hall and Dorian Gray.

In 2005 Matthias Krämer got in contact with renown producer, radio host and DJ, <a href="spotify:artist:4eMIc90TNkM7CAJjSJ1vwE" data-name="Tillmann Uhrmacher">Tillmann Uhrmacher</a>. Together they started work on various projects such as the single &#39;Pride in Your Eyes (Om Nama Shiva)&#39;, released in 2006 on <a href="spotify:artist:7wU1naftD3lNq7rNsiDvOR" data-name="Paul van Dyk">Paul van Dyk</a>&#39;s label VANDIT Records. During his partnership with Uhrmacher they, among other highlights, performed together at Nature One 2006. For this event, a major festival for Electronic Music in Europe, Krämer produced a new remix of the classic Uhrmacher single &#39;Free&#39; - <a href="spotify:track:0Gv36dHdGpvTwDb4xNZYWj" data-name="Free - Matthew Kramer Ambient Remix">Free - Matthew Kramer Ambient Remix</a>.

Since 2011, in addition to his chillout material, his main project has been &#39;<a href="spotify:artist:2v6GvGJVnMFSX2ei25vFNB" data-name="DJ Dag">DJ Dag</a> &amp; Matthew Kramer&#39;. A collaboration with compatriot, producer and DJ, Dag Lerner. Together they have released singles such as <a href="spotify:album:4yVhAeVpXiverC7ne7XvJv" data-name="Louder">Louder</a>, <a href="spotify:album:3Z4mAImrGLGN5hMtGwBv8F" data-name="Hey Ho Lets Go">Hey Ho Lets Go</a> and <a href="spotify:album:4ABF5BXQ05xIvJaVtsb0NY" data-name="Lsd">Lsd</a>.
