Founded in 2016 and based in Lyon, France, Maven Hill is an alternative rock band whose main objective is to create the best possible blend of heaviness, grooviness and atmospheric vibes.
Mainly influenced by heavy genres (stoner, prog rock, psych, sludge...), their material is however the result of their willingness to explore different styles such as post rock, funk or electro in order to craft an hybrid and live-oriented music.
By considering their individual skills and influences as means to reach a unique collective result, the band resolutely claims its intention to avoid any pigeonholing and gather as much as possible around their music.
After honing their compositions on stage for 2 years, Maven Hill now promotes its debut album “Magnetic”, mixed by Jaroslav Celujko (Somali Yacht Club, Savage Messiah...) and mastered by Sacha Besson (Fuzzcrafter).
