The son of successful soccer star Barry Venison, Max Morgan initially intended to follow his father's career until a painful growth spurt sidelined him at the age of 13. Suffering from painful joints and aching knees, he temporarily give up his athletic training and embraced music instead, mastering the guitar and piano while also honing his vocals. A series of moves eventually brought the Liverpool native to southern California, where he settled in Los Angeles and pursued work as a pop/rock solo artist. Marc Tanner (president of Chime Entertainment, and a former recording artist in his own right) opted to produce Morgan's debut album, and the resulting Interrupting the Silence was slated for release in early 2009. ~ Andrew Leahey, Rovi
