Philadelphia-raised musician Maxfield Gast has been widely recognized for his performance as a saxophonist, composer and producer. As a featured artist he has released several albums all on the Militia Hill label.
Maxfield has constructed an extensive discography having recorded on over 60 albums and has worked with a wide variety of Grammy Award winning artists including <a href="spotify:artist:26T3LtbuGT1Fu9m0eRq5X3" data-name="Cage The Elephant">Cage The Elephant</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3ni9LX95aVQksOuoHFEbEx" data-name="Reggie Watts">Reggie Watts</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4fQii15cX3Q0ZkjCdsIxkZ" data-name="Louis C.K.">Louis C.K.</a>, Scot Sax and <a href="spotify:artist:5vAp2vESGTyXYSHDR5VLGU" data-name="Bakithi Kumalo">Bakithi Kumalo</a>. He composed and performed the music for all 5 seasons of FX Network’s multi Emmy Award and Golden Globe winning series “Louie” as a member of studio band SweetPro.
