Maxi Menot studied classical music, composition and music production in Frankfurt, Barcelona and Mannheim and has since been active as a composer and producer with various projects in the field of film music as well as artist productions and album recordings. She is also a co-founder of the Female Composers Collective TRACK15 and runs her own publishing company Edition B+, with which she focuses primarily on female artists and music for film.
She has received many scholarships for her music; including from Initiative Musik, the Yehudi Menuhin Organisation, the Musikfonds and V.U.T..
Her music reflects her extensive training as an orchestral musician, her skills in producing electronic music, her experience as a multi-instrumentalist and her love of Nordic sounds. Menot's style as a producer and writer ranges from catchy pop melodies to electronic ambient beats and neo-classical instruments. She is known for her choral and vocal arrangements and string programming.
