Maya Fennec is a Swedish artist, born and rased in Stockholm, currently based in Tokyo. She has gone on to be part of several successful bands and constellations in both Sweden and Japan.
2016, Maya went on a two week long tour accompanied by renowned Japanese singers Kenji Okahira (of 3B LAB.S fame) and REDs (of AURA fame), playing venues and festivals all across Sweden.
Maya has also seen great success collaborating with fellow Swedish musician Endigo, with whom she has released multiple hit songs and videos on YouTube, such as the track “Huggy Wuggy” (with over 54 million views).
Currently, Maya resides in Tokyo where she frequently performs live at various clubs and venues - both as a solo artist and with different ensembles - ranging from classic jazz to modern rock. She has quickly become well-known in the Tokyo indie music scene due to her distinct voice and charismatic singing style.
