Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, MAYCE began her music journey in 2012 by sharing heartfelt cover songs on YouTube. Soon after she established her online presence, her talent caught the attention of Flo Rida, leading to a record deal and an opportunity to tour with him from 2015 to 2017 during his My House album era.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought an unexpected turn to her career, during which she relocated to Utah.
