MC Maromba hails from the State of Rio de Janeiro and was born in 1989 in Nova Iguaçu City. Since childhood, he has been immersed in baile funk music, having grown up in the metropolitan area of Rio. However, he began recording his own songs in 2004 at the age of 15, coinciding with the rise of the digital era. In 2012, he achieved significant career visibility with the release of the music video "Lindo de Bonito." The following year, he followed up with another successful video, "Quem é o Teu Homem," which became a hit at funk parties. In 2015, he collaborated with DJ Cassula and MC Lele on "Acompanha o Grave (Profissa Na Dança)," a track that garnered success across Latin America and gained considerable acclaim from twerk dancers worldwide. In 2016, he continued to make waves in the baile funk market with the release of "Automaticamente," in partnership with MC Leléto. The music video surpassed 100 million views on YouTube. In 2019 and 2020, he released more viral hits, namely "Não Faz Essa Cara" and "Vanessa," alongside the TikTok success of the song "Morena Tatuada," a collaboration with MC Duartt.
