Meadowlake is a dreampop/folkrock group from the Netherlands. After releasing two albums, they begun looking for a new, more stripped-down sound as a three-piece. In september 2024, the result of this journey was presented to the world: their third album 'where the mountain meets the sea', recorded with Big Thief guitarist Buck Meek in their new studio in Los Angeles.
Meadowlake is very excited about the new album, as it showcases the raw, authentic vibe their music has always had, but that was always hidden beneath layers of reverb and feedback. Recording everything live with the whole band all at once, keeping small mistakes and imperfections here and there, brought them back to the joy and honesty of making music together. All of this is audible on the 10 brand new songs featured on their latest album! (August 2024)
