Mean Genius is a collaboration project between members of two of Seattle's most popular underground hard rock acts; Windowpane & Ten Miles Wide.
"Creating the majority of their material throughout the pandemic, the band's sound can be described as dark, unique and groovalicious. Johndus Beckman's voice ranks among this city's well-known predecessors and has been a Seattle favorite of mine for some time. The band is the definition of simple is more, yet beyond complicated. It's a Ferrari engine; everything is running smoothy, nothing out of place except it's chaotic."
- Pete Neilson, The Strnger Magazine
Mean Genius had nearly 600 people at their debut performance at the Crocodile, in Seattle WA and is currently tracking a full-length album at London Bridge Studios.
