Four years after releasing «Orb» and «Orb II», Meister Lampe is back from a long musical journey and within this luggage, the new album «Orb III», which is the final chapter of the «Orb» album trilogy releasing on 21st of October in 2022.
The Orb-concept: Lampe picks rare music samples and traditional sound images from all around the globe which he mixes across the different musical genres and influences of each country and packs them with driving beats. A mixture of hip hop beatmaking and club music.
«Orb III» is based on samples found on old crackling vinyls in stores around Bangkok, Amsterdam, Cairo, flea markets and many more places. Drawing heavily upon the inspiration by his idols like Andrés Segovia, Santana, Django Reinhardt, Dimebag Darrell and Kerry King, you'll be finding suave pickings on Mírame at the same time as nasty riffs on El Vinicunca.
The whole album contains 12 Songs, with samples of songs from 12 different countries and was created during the pandemic around 2020 - 2021. "It wouldn't have been possible without the beautiful music sources, the support of friends, label and all the fans still remaining loyal to that special Meister Lampe style, which evolved but surely kept its unique charm" Meister Lampe says.
