MEKII, a native New Yorker, started his music career studying at the New York Jazz Academy. After ten years of jazz theory and instrumentalist training, MEKII made the switch to composing electronic music after being introduced to Don Diablo. Shortly soon after, MEKII had started messing around in Ableton 10. After a mere two years, MEKII began gaining label attention through his unique arrangement and passion for the technical side of music production. Although his career is young, MEKII is gaining traction. He hopes to become a distinguished producer within the house music scenes.
