MELD's sound can be described as "UniverSOUL." A cinematic soulful experience, she draws inspiration from the conscious lyricism of artists like Trevor Hall, while grounding in with powerful, deep soulful vocals. MELD’s sophomore album “Sunrise” - honoring her late father’s life - was released on 8/8 featuring performances by Cristina Vane, Sicard Hollow, Lady Couch, Austin Grimm & Max Ribner.
In November 2020 amidst a global pandemic, MELD's debut album "Words of the Water" was released after receiving praise from Forbes, Live for Live Music, The Tennessean, and more. Mastered by Anthony Thogmartin (EarthCry, Papadosio,) and mixed by Paco Cosette (Sturgill Simpson,) the album was sculpted by many talented hands. The album is tied together with a spoken word meditation featuring Amber Lily, Marya Stark, Katie Buxton, Heather Christie, Shira Elias, Alanna Royale, Maureen Murphy, Jess Nolan, and Phantom Vanity. Earnings from this song raise money for ocean cleanup.
This release follows her debut EP "H.U.R.T." (Healing Under Rising Truth,) which received nods from Nylon, BTRToday, and more. In the past, MELD has toured with Ayla Nereo, and shared the stage with Maggie Rose, The Main Squeeze, Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers, Zoogma, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Papadosio, and more. She played Summer Camp Music Festival after winning Nashville's "On The Road to Summer Camp" in 2022.
