The Brooklyn indie rock outfit Meneguar features Justin Wertz, Jeremy Earl, Jarvis Taveniere, and Christian Deroeck. Formed in 2004 after playing with various bands, Meneguar began recording their debut, I Was Born at Night, in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bushwick that winter. A limited-edition pressing for Magic Bullet followed in May; by the year's end, Nicolas Vernhes (<a href="spotify:artist:4ePunOqQbOYoQwd1298g3Z">Silver Jews</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6dzueKMr7xesqFAZesqeSf">Ted Leo</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5R7K1GezC0jy24v1R2n4x3">Fischerspooner</a>) signed on to remix and remaster I Was Born at Night for Troubleman Unlimited.
