From Bristol UK, alternative/electronic band Mesh is Mark Hockings and Richard Silverthorn. They started making dark, emotional synthesised and sample-based music in the early ’90s. It was the sudden notice from Future Music magazine that introduced the sounds of Mesh, landing three of the band's tracks on the magazine's CD compilation. Still not enough buzz to land a record deal, Mesh formed their own label Tolerance and issued an EP entitled Fragile in 1994, which was later re-released by Memento Materia the next year, along with the full-length In This Place Forever. A sophomore effort, The Point at Which It Falls Apart, followed.
In 2000 the band signed with Sony Music and released Who Watches Over Me. With extensive touring across Europe, Mesh became a regular on major alternative festival line-ups and their popularity exploded.
We Collide, A Perfect Solution, and Automation Baby followed.
In 2016, Looking Skyward saw the band break into the mainstream German charts at number 12 and top all major alternative and independent charts at number 1.
The band has released their first single "Exile" from the forthcoming 9th studio album “The Truth Doesn’t Matter” to be released on March 27th, 2026, followed by the album tour across Germany and Europe. Ticket on sale now.
