Lights of Euphoria is a project founded by the Zoth Ommog A&R man <a href="spotify:artist:4HErtsAwY1yBRQSQL3psui" data-name="Torben Schmidt">Torben Schmidt</a>, today CEO of Infacted Recordings. On the first Album called Brainstorm various singers contributed the vocals, and for “Subjection” Claus Larsen of Leæther Strip did the vocals. Henrik Jensen from Neotech delivered vocals for the “Give me you”, and Jimmy Machon from Godheads did vocals for the song “Face of a god”. Among a bunch of other great artists.
On LOE's third album, 1997's Blood Brothers, Jimmy Machon did all of the vocals, and became the main voice of Lights of Euphoria.
Many musicians and vocalists have collaborated with LOE and contributed with music and vocals.
From 2010 LOE was joined by Thomas Gaarn from Manipulator as a live musician and shortly after he became a full time member.
Since the release of Sleepwalk, most songwriting is done by Jimmy Machon since Torben had more and more to do with managing his label and doing synths for Suicide Commando.
Today Jimmy and Thomas are the main songwriters. And has written tracks like Schwarze Sonne, Hallo Hallo, Waiting, Book of Lies, Deadliest Trap, Saviour, Access Denied, Man and Machine, and Puppeteer. 2022 was the year LOE had a great amount of releases including 5 singles and 2 EPs
Today LOE is mainly a two man band on stage but Torben does occasionally join LOE on stage when logistics and time allows.
