British hard rock quintet As Lions were formed in late 2014 by singer Austin Dickinson (son of <a href="spotify:artist:6mdiAmATAx73kdxrNrnlao">Iron Maiden</a> frontman <a href="spotify:artist:7Iffw1nP3NjCWkRIx3Ily9">Bruce Dickinson</a>), guitarists Conor O'Keefe and Will Homer, bassist Stefan Whiting, and drummer Dave Fee. Melding a cinematic, guitar-heavy sound with a strong melodic sense and electronic flourishes, the London-based group soon scored a deal with American label <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Eleven+Seven+Music%22">Eleven Seven Music</a> and headed to the States to record with producer <a href="spotify:artist:1cIMjUTNaDs3pP0TxjdPXe">David Bendeth</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:4tususHNaR68xdgLstlGBA">Of Mice & Men</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:74XFHRwlV6OrjEM0A2NCMF">Paramore</a>).
