Formed in 2009 by Neil Struble and Nick Cunningham, Metempsychosis is an ever-evolving collective of musicians that blends a wide range of genres, from progressive rock to electronica and everything in between. The band now features musicians Aaron Rinna, Nick Wilson, and Dave Beattie in addition to Struble and Cunningham, with all five members filling multiple roles. The band was founded on the idea of having no musical limitations and always following the members’ whims in order to create music they are truly passionate about. This results in every release being stylistically different from the last while still retaining the emotion and craftsmanship the band is known for. This is also reflected in live shows, with members frequently switching instruments between or even during songs. The band has remained independent since its inception and everything from recording and mixing to promotion has been done on a DIY basis.
