MF&I

MF&I started in 1994 at Alvalade - Lisbon, where the Portuguese punk rock's music most prominent bands were born.
It was in this punk breeding neighborhood where these 4 friends Bernardo (drums), Diogo (Vocals and guitar), Herculano (Lead guitar) and Pedro (Bass guitar), born, grew up and formed Mf&I.
With Censurados, Ramones, Bad religion, Pennywise, NOFX, Lagwagon, Millencolin, Metallica, Pantera, Nirvana, Beatles among many others on their walkman, they started playing music together.
Described by some as a punkrock band with clear Californian influences, and by others as a great mesh! (…), it was always about a group of friends who had fun playing what they wanted. A band with an almost exclusive live path. In 2000 they stepped into a recording studio for the first time, recording a 7 track demo : “DEMOnstration”, which is the only record till now…
In 2004 the band played their last show, with an exception in 2010 with a one time show opening for Strung Out. Shared stage with many national and international bands such as NOFX, NUFAN, Pulley, Strung Out, among others less known. Got back together in 2019 to rehearse, dusting off the gear, started to arrange old songs and wrote new ones till…. COVID came up
After a two song single entitled FRIENDS released early on these year, they are back in studio working in fresh new six song album, to be realeased later on this year!
