Miami & the Groovers

Miami & the Groovers sono una delle rock band indipendenti più apprezzate e seguite in Italia. Fondata nel 2000 da Lorenzo Semprini, leader autore e cantante, hanno prodotto quattro album in studio (Dirty roads 2005, Merry go round 2008, Good things 2012, The Ghost King 2015), un box live cd/dvd (No way back 2013), due ep (Are you ready 2008, Biancorosso 2011), ricevendo ottime critiche ed un appassionato seguito di pubblico

With more than 1.000 all over Italy, Austria, Sweden, Belgium, Uk and Usa, they played with many great musicians such as: Bruce Springsteen, Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, Popa Chubby, Elliott Murphy, Jesse Malin, Willie Nile, Joe Gruscheky, Marah, Alejandro Escovedo, Dirk Hamilton, Joe D'Urso & Stone Caravan, Ron Lasalle, Bill Toms, Jake Clemons, Gang.
They recorded 5 albums (Dirty roads, Merry go round, Good things, No way back, The ghost king) and their main influences are: Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, The Clash, Elvis, Tom Petty, Neil Young, Woody Guthrie.
They are part of the project called “Light of day benefit” (www.lightofday.org).
Miami & the Groovers are one of the most important “Unknown bands”:
a mixed salad of rock and roll, folk, punk and irish music.
