Michael Carstensen grew up in Northern Germany and first learned various instruments such as recorder, xylophone, melodica in his childhood through play. Later he took many years of piano lessons with different teachers from classical to jazz. In Hamburg he completed an apprenticeship as an audio engineer. Since then he played keyboards in many bands, produced jingles for the radio and made remixes in the genre house music. Currently he runs a YouTube channel "Piano Tutorial Easy" with more than 600.000 followers and composes and produces his own music, mainly instrumental piano music. Currently he lives with his family in Kamen, Germany.
