Michael & Levan duo was formed by Michael and Levan Dunamalyan brothers in 2002. Years of hard work in the studio and time and effort investment bear fruit: the duo wins the attention of the famous Tilth Music label, which carries out the brothers' first release. The track immediately receives the appretiation of a progressive house guru, Hernan Cattaneo.
Michael & Levan duo stands out with its unique deep-atmospheric sound, which is approved of the electro-music community. In 2008 the brothers - along with their friend Steven Ravic - found their own record label and call it Mistique Music, which later plays a big role in the further development of the duo's career. The trio releases many succesful tracks on the new label, that, up to this day, are sold in all of the leading online music stores.
In 2010, the duo begins to perform more frequently in various venues around the world, including: India, Yekaterinburg, Vilnius, Astana and more.
In 2013, Michael & Levan and Steven Ravic co-found another label – Kunai Records – intended to release only their original music and remixes of the latter by A-class DJs. Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile’s remix of [Michael & Levan, Steven Rivic “Filthy Shadows”] and Yves Eaux’s remix of the same track appear in Beatport's Top 5 for two weeks.
Every month, Michael & Levan duo performs its special "9 Electric Turns" radio show on Proton Radio.
In 2020 fresh releases are expected on Balance Music, Sprout Music, Selador and other popular labels.
