Michael Vesterskov

I am Michael Vesterskov, singer-songwriter from Denmark. I started playing music at age 11, and have since then been playing concerts all over Denmark, in Sweden, Norway, England and USA. I always try to have a close dialogue with my listeners, and since I started writing my own music I strived to find my own sound and new ways to tell stories - stories about being a human being in a modern world - to be serious with intimacy and humour, and listening to my heart - characterized by meaningful pop/rock songs.
Previously I played with the band Westwood with big chart succes on radio in Scandinavia. After one album though, I went solo, and have since then released 19 albums, 3 EPs and several singles – including the critically acclaimed albums Stockholm Sessions, Blossom From The Dirt and Morning Sessions. I write in both Danish and English.
I have my own studio/workspace in a little village just outside Copenhagen, where I write the music and the books.
Right now I’m looking forward to release two new songs within the next months, and I’m so exited to share my music with you.
