The upcoming roar of a newfound pop-rock powerhouse has been carefully crafted by Michael Zuzek, who not only knows how to play the keys of the piano but of your heart. Influenced by the playing style of Burton Cummings who carefully fronted an iconic sound for The Guess Who and the syncopated melodies of ragtime piano that elevated 50’s and 60’s music. Aspiring to the iconic band The Beatles, who have contributed to not only the sound of songs but vocal intensity found in Zuzek's talent. With combined inspiration from The Zombies’ alluring melodies and The Band’s very own, Garth Hudson, who specialized in abstracting sound from the organ, Zuzek has successfully reimagined the sound of the 60’s and 70’s.
Born in the heart of Toronto, Zuzek spent most of his childhood surrounded by his family and creating friendships that would last a lifetime. But most of his time was consumed by the growing relationship he was developing with music. Michael discovered his calling for the piano at the young age of 5, where he began lessons and furthered his development with the keyboard family. The piano was only an introduction to what his musical career would hold, as he wrote and produced the musical soundtrack for the film, Ulysses, where he transformed the cinematic intensity into sound.
Michael has diligently dedicated time to writing and producing his debut album 'Everest', featuring his charting UK hit song “Graystone”.
