Mickey Johnson is no ordinary Guy. The Ghanaian 26-year-old is an Afrobeats singer-songwriter with a soft melodious voice and even bigger aspirations. Born 'Michael Ohemeng Asante' on 11th August 1993. The Name 'Mickey Johnson' came out as a brand name for him when he started directing music videos as a profession in 2014. 'I want people to hear my music and start moving their body ” Mickey says, and he succeeds. with the help of his bestfriend Farid 'Africanboy Worldwide' was founded in 2017 to compete with some of the biggest record lables in the world by bringing out great talents. Mickey Johnson being the first artist on the lable has managed to develop a wholly unique Afrobeats sound and lyrics that puts you in the mode to dance. Mickey Johnson grew up in Accra the capital city of Ghana where he had his basic education at Achimota Baic School , one of the best basic schools in the country. He was rasied by his Grandmother. Being a house hold name in Ghana as one of the best music video directors, Mickey Johnson has dropped singles to show his musical prowers “I would like to be received as a serious musician,” he says. “That’s really important to me.
