Migs’ music fills up any room with reassurance, happiness, pride, passion and heart-break. Moving from Lisbon, Portugal in 2014 Migs finds inspiration in his adjustment to fit in fast-paced London where he found liberation – the secret that inspired him to start voicing his passions through music.


Migs started in the creative industry in London as a graphic designer for music awards such as The BRIT Awards and the Mercury Prize. This proximity with other musicians has encouraged him to keep writing and in 2021 Migs released his debut EP ‘what did you expect’ after completing the music production course at London Sound Academy.


In 2022 Migs signed as an independent artist with major label AWAL, and has since worked on the concept single ‘in-between’, got featured on a collaborative release ‘somebody else’ with BMG Rights Management producer and song writer Steve Malcomson, alongside Cat Santanna.


Migs has also co-written and recorded the score for the catwalk show SS23 Street Sweel Collection by Duarte brand at Lisbon Fashion Week.


Through his alternative pop language featuring distinct playful beats, Migs consistently diminishes any form of oppression and demands that it exits the scene. With the support of various playlists, including New Music Friday Portugal, INDIE WORLD with 1M+ followers and LGBTQ+ Playlist 🏳️‍🌈, Migs’ music features a mellow narrative that inevitably transforms into a hyped sonic language and promotes nothing but fun and self-love.
