Miguel Di Genova is an Argentine musician, video artist, and architect, best known as the creator of Otros Aires, a groundbreaking electrotango project blending the nostalgia of tango with electronic and world music.
With 22 years of career, 9 studio albums, and 45 international tours across Europe, North and South America, performing in more than 250 cities, Otros Aires has become a global reference in modern tango.
In 2018, the City of Buenos Aires declared the project of “Cultural Interest.” Their music has appeared in major TV shows like Dancing with the Stars (USA), America’s Got Talent (USA), and Strictly Come Dancing (UK), and in tango productions such as Break the Tango and Esa Mujer es Tango by Mora Godoy.
Otros Aires has performed on world stages like Lincoln Center (New York), National Concert Hall (Dublin), Bardentreffen Festival (Germany), Amsterdam Roots Festival (Netherlands), Greensound Festival (Romania), and Pirineos Sur and Mar de Músicas (Spain). Between others.
Miguel has collaborated with Miles Copeland (former manager of The Police and Sting) at the Songwriters’ Retreat in Château Marouatte (France), writing with artists such as Jon Bellion, Cathy Dennis, Meghan Kabir, Klas Åhlund, Bob and Greg Wells.
In 2024, he released a collaboration with Jovanotti, reimagining the song Montecristo and expanding the universe of electrotango to new generations. The live recording of this version was released through VEVO.
