Migz Haleco is a singer-songwriter and music producer best known for his signature acoustic-pop sound. Before releasing his own music, he gained attention through his viral covers on SoundCloud and YouTube. His first major break came in 2010 when he joined the Talentadong Pinoy, where he was hailed as one of the semi-finalists.
Migz later entered the mainstream music scene as part of a duo recognized for their rendition of “<a href="spotify:track:2XjbnM2PaUAgh8FHZHgpZr" data-name="Ambon">Ambon</a>,” the official soundtrack of the blockbuster film How To Be Yours.
In 2017, he launched his solo career and released his debut album <a href="spotify:album:3dL8mN5BcdTUpA5FSxZWeL" data-name="This">This</a>, featuring his original compositions “<a href="spotify:track:3YWcOgZTMDSb3V6qn1zfmD" data-name="Pare Tama Na">Pare Tama Na</a>,” “<a href="spotify:track:18nX8IlcrFxiFLzqXus7zh" data-name="'Pag Ika'y Nagmahal">'Pag Ika'y Nagmahal</a>,” and “<a href="spotify:track:0wNi9yNFx49FO9iImxK7IJ" data-name="Walang Alinlangan">Walang Alinlangan</a>.” That same year, he also joined the country’s biggest songwriting competition as the interpreter of “<a href="spotify:track:23YkP2TDtgLM6LDuyULOz4" data-name="Bes">Bes</a>.”
His artistry were later recognized at the Awit Awards, where he won Male Acoustic Artist of the Year, further cementing his place in the OPM scene.
Today, Migz is the co-founder of the independent record label WYL Music, where he continues to help develop and support emerging Filipino artists.
