Mihaela Fileva is a Bulgarian pop artist, songwriter, dancer, and voice actress, known for her distinctive sound, heartfelt lyrics, and captivating stage presence. Born in Veliko Tarnovo, she began studying piano and singing at the age of five and went on to win numerous international music competitions across Europe.
Her rise to fame began in 2011 with The X Factor Bulgaria, where her talent caught the attention of the record label Monte Music. A graduate of the National Academy of Music 'Prof. Pancho Vladigerov', Mihaela holds a Master’s degree in Vocal Pedagogy. Since 2025, she has been an independent, self-producing artist, with global distribution through Orpheus Music / Warner Music Group.
To date, Mihaela has released five studio albums, including one international project, earning multiple awards such as Female Singer of the Year, Album of the Year, and Woman of the Year. She has also been a finalist in Dancing Stars, a judge on Bulgaria’s Got Talent, and a coach on The Voice of Bulgaria.
Her voice can be heard in major productions like Smurfs: The Lost Village and Wonder Park. In 2024, she became the only Bulgarian artist to open for Ed Sheeran in Sofia.
Beyond her music, Mihaela is an advocate for human rights and LGBTQ+ equality, using her art to inspire empathy, light, and unity.
