Mike B & the Universe is the moniker of L.A. based songwriter-producer Mike Bücher (boo-ker). Mike B & the Universe has released three full-length records including “Songs for Peace” (2007), “Stretching Out” (2014) and “Bloom Baby Bloom” (2021).
In addition to his work with Mike B and the Universe, Mike Bücher has also been a member of L.A. based electro-pop outfit Iglu & Hartly. In 2008, the band’s release of “In this City” (Mercury Universal) charted at number 5 in the UK. The band played the prestigious Isle of Wight festival in 2010 to a crowd of forty thousand, and played the Coachella Music festival in 2010.
Mike is currently living in Los Angeles, playing live, making music and surfing first point Friday mornings.
