Mike Bama* is the stage name for American Entertainer and Musician Michael Wayne Barrett. Born in Montgomery, Alabama January 11th 1991, Mike has always had a passion for both Hip Hop & Country. Listening at a young age to artist like T.I., Eminem, & Ludacris, while also enjoying Justin Moore, Brad Paisley, & Brantley Gilbert had a profound affect on him. After serving 4 years in the US Army as an MP, Mike decided to chase his dreams and pursue a career in Music & Entertainment.
In May of 2014 Mike Bama began performing his own original music styled after early Influences like T.I. , MGK, Mac Miller, Hopsin & more. After 3 years on April 22nd 2017 Mike released his debut album “Still Dreaming” with several instant hits & fan favorites like “Street Outlaw” and “Back To My Roots”.
Only 2 months later on July 4th 2017, Mike released his 2nd full album titled “Merica”, with hit songs like “Came From” & title track “Merica”.
Mike’s 3rd studio album "Trilogy" dropped March 2nd 2019 under his own indi label BamFam Ent.
Mike Bama has also done several major collabs that have gotten him attention. Most notably “Born This Way” with Ryan Upchurch & “Hot Damn” with FJ Outlaw!
Bama released his 4th official studio album “Army of One!” July 14th, 2021. This is a solo project with 11 tracks, & No features.
He Recently released his 1st Country Single “Country As A Biscuit” and announced an upcoming Country Album. Check out his socials for more info!
