Hard Target is a Florida based Hip Hop artist, with Country and Southern Rock influences. Raised in Polk County, Florida on a wide variety of artist such as Pastor Troy, John Michael Montgomery, Field Mobb, and Credence Clearwater Revival to name a few, His style of hip hop was a bit off the normal beating path. Mixing twangy southern riffs with harder hitting breaks from the southern hip hop side of things over time it became a normal formula for his musical direction. In a time were trends are created and then copied by the masses, Hard Target was tapped into this formula since his first album in 2004 "Southern Axesent". Knowing that he would be shunned in a sense, due to the weird combination of music, he moved forward with his choice which inevitably ended up playing into his favor. He stood out, from doing open mics and battling in the central Florida hip hop scene, he used his unique style as an advantage. Being able to tour and do music with the likes of Limp Bizkit, Tech N9ne, Hopsin, MGK, and many more. Hard Target is now part owner and co-founder of the label Traylormade Records. Being completely 100% independent Target, writes, produces, records, mixes, masters, his own music himself, as well as the GFX and marketing materials.
