Mike Mayfield

Emerging on the London scene from the ‘<a href="spotify:artist:5hj5cHVAt2RXA3p6Y5LAdy" data-name="W3">W3</a> Jam Sessions’ now hosted at Ronnie Scott’s, Mike Mayfield was the lead singer and co-writer for the band and the self titled album that grew out of the those sessions; <a href="spotify:artist:1HhdyAEPGxPwkcT7gH2Jwy" data-name="Bassment Project">Bassment Project</a> . One of the highlights of the album features a duet with the late great <a href="spotify:artist:0PDqlUGugF5Jt6DZyATvfz" data-name="Betty Wright">Betty Wright</a>.

After this period he spent time sharing the stage and travelling the world as a musician with acts as diverse as <a href="spotify:artist:7sfgqEdoeBTjd8lQsPT3Cy" data-name="Emeli Sandé">Emeli Sandé</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2feDdbD5araYcm6JhFHHw7" data-name="Labrinth">Labrinth</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3XxxEq6BREC57nCWXbQZ7o" data-name="Jamie Cullum">Jamie Cullum</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7bvcQXJHkFiN1ppIN3q4fi" data-name="Joss Stone">Joss Stone</a> and recently <a href="spotify:artist:5KKpBU5eC2tJDzf0wmlRp2" data-name="RAYE">RAYE</a> to name a few. Returning to his own creative instincts, Mike released his debut EP ‘Hard Up’ in 2019.

In the last few years Mike has supported <a href="spotify:artist:4fwuXg6XQHfdlOdmw36OHa" data-name="Paloma Faith">Paloma Faith</a> on a run of UK shows, toured the Netherlands and was included in radio performances live on the Robert Elms and Gabby Roslin BBC Radio shows. He is also included as a featured artist in the live album and theatre show &#39;Both Sides Now - Homage to the Songs of Joni Mitchell&#39;. The album showcases artists <a href="spotify:artist:0Mk6GS1Xr5tqlQyPNkMZzx" data-name="Rumer">Rumer</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:61okrQJiXCCBWPjjNY6npH" data-name="Hamish Stuart">Hamish Stuart</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6ydZgJ9WCRguM0ZZRG8thk" data-name="Jo Harman">Jo Harman</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7kdZf8zP2uqmZyvz77iBut" data-name="Mim Grey">Mim Grey</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6JljfhUxkLFMHtkePAxKSY" data-name="Jana Varga">Jana Varga</a>.

Mike is currently performing live shows with new music imminent.
