Mike Storey

Mike began his musical journey at age 15, forming an R&B group called "Suede". Over the next 3-4 years, he would go on to write numerous songs as well as poetry. After Suede disbanded, he joined another group in the late 90's named "Evolution". From then on, he trained himself vocally for several years by performing at numerous small venues in his home town various cover songs of 70's, 80's, & 90's R&B groups, most notably Boys II Men, Shai, The Temptations, The Stylistics, & Earth Wind & Fire.
After Evolution disbanded, he joined what would be the last R&B group he'd ever sing with in late 2001 named "Unique Soul", where he got to travel the country & broaden his stage experience by opening up for or performing for artists such as Angie Stone, Anthony Hamilton, Jagged Edge, Ginuwine, etc.
This would lead to him honing his vocal and performance abilities, & also recording numerous demos.
After Unique Soul disbanded in 2006, Mike took a hiatus from music & focused his attention on small acting gigs and being a family man. During his hiatus, he continued to write songs, poetry, & even screenplays for films.
Mike eventually had the good fortune to meet an indie artist/producer named Darien Fields & also partnered up with indie label "Capital Minds Entertainment"; both of whom were pivotal in helping Mike record his debut solo EP titled, "The Amalgamation Pt.1".
Since his debut EP, Mike has released 3 subsequent singles & is currently recording "The Amalgamation Pt. 2".
