MIK's Reaction fans are music enthusiasts who Love to deep dive into songs.
If I had to give a genre for my music, then I would say it is 80’s inspired pop/folk/rock.
But I have also done EDM, Jazz Soul, Blues, Country, Rap, Electronica and more.
I just Love all types of music.
I have been writing songs since I was 12 and I have a large backlog to release, and new one's keep popping into my head - out of that magical nowhere, all the time.
I'm also having a ball doing collabs with people from all over the world.
MIK's Reaction is actually just one person, me - MIK.
Mainly because I can't afford to hire a band, but also because I love playing all the instruments myself.
My songs are my “reaction” to things I see and hear around me.
I will do songs about Love, but I also write about the hypocrisies of governments & religions, my incomprehension at the prevalence of domestic violence and any other injustices that I see.
I also really enjoy doing the occasional comedy song.
I have always enjoyed songs with great lyrics and I try my best to make people think & question things, with my lyrics.
Then at other times I just say "fuck" for a cheap laugh.
I really hope you enjoy my music, I certainly had a ball creating it.
