I am a story telling singer songwriter guitarist mainly in the folk music genre be it traditional, progressive, alternative........ I also record ambient music and my take on classical music which I try to bring up to date usually with my own twist with it.
I started off in the mid 70s as lead guitarist in a promising blues group then later on playing guitar in pop/country groups The Fifth Amendment and later FTM. A break in 1982 to around 2002 when I was asked to host and perform a St Patrick's night and since then I started playing live again but mainly in the Folk genre as a solo artist. At the beginning of the pandemic I once again started songwriting and recording producing my first solo album The Stripey Tent.

On the 13th June 2022 I released my take of a piece of classical music which has been described as Peer Gynt meets heavy metal called In the Hall of the Mountain King.
On the 20th September 2024 I released an album The War to End all Wars which was about the 1st World War from the beginning to the end of it. Included in it there are songs covering different aspects of occurrences and some are quite emotional.
