Mile Marker Zero is a Progressive Rock Band from New Haven, CT. Consisting of Dave Alley (Vocals), Doug Alley (Drums), Mark Focarile (Keyboards), Jaco Lindito (Bass), and John Tuohy (Guitar) the band was formed in 2005 and since then has shared the stage with <a href="spotify:artist:5NXHXK6hOCotCF8lvGM1I0" data-name="Porcupine Tree">Porcupine Tree</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6d24kC5fxHFOSEAmjQPPhc" data-name="Periphery">Periphery</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1OiOWEQ9miUl9QbCX5JNza" data-name="Adrenaline Mob">Adrenaline Mob</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:39VNwvlQTqE9SvgPjjnMpc" data-name="NOTHING MORE">NOTHING MORE</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1HN6EhIK1fRYk5gtXHclZv" data-name="Spock&#39;s Beard">Spock&#39;s Beard</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:16Uqo1jjtPiKI4zU1Ficgb" data-name="Scale The Summit">Scale The Summit</a>, and more.

They create a multi-layered approach of combining the classic progressive rock of bands like <a href="spotify:artist:2Hkut4rAAyrQxRdof7FVJq" data-name="Rush">Rush</a>, with Modern Rock of bands like <a href="spotify:artist:12Chz98pHFMPJEknJQMWvI" data-name="Muse">Muse</a>. Mile Marker Zero were the first unsigned band to be in the popular Rock Band Video game and were the New England Music Award winners for Best in State (CT). They have performed at major festivals including RosFest, Progstock, and the Uncanceled Music Festival.

Their last concept album “The Fifth Row” (2018), focused on the exponential growth of Artificial Intelligence and its effect on society. Well before the AI trend reached its recent heights. Outside tracks being featured in the videogame NASCAR HEAT 4, it was heralded as “remarkably confident, meticulously mapped out, and ceaselessly interesting. This making it the band’s crowning achievement thus far and one of the first great genre albums of 2018“ (RebelNoise)

The band&#39;s new album, &#34;Coming of Age&#34; (for release in July of 2024) has already garnered incredible reviews and looks to set the band apart from the genre.
