Minor Mine

Based in Thessaloniki Minor Mine have been experimenting with contemporary folk, urban blues and post punk elements developing their own blend. Formed in 2007 and very soon performed live in various venues and festivals across Greece. They opened gigs for bands such as Tuxedomoon, Murder by Death, Savage Republic, Wovenhand, The Ex, The Band of Holy Joy.

In December 2009 first single "Where they go" released in compilation of Sonik magazine "Support New MZK". The band self-released debut album "Where they go" in the spring of 2010. "Where they go" album was a suggested album of 2010 by Sonik Mag.

In December 2011 they collaborated with Radio Joy (members of The Band of Holy Joy), in presenting "Beuys will be Beuys", an audiovisual live performance, carried out in Thessaloniki.

Their sophomore album "Out of Heaven" followed in November of 2012. Minor Mine took part in a crowd-funding campaign through Indiegogo for the music video “Out of Heaven” written and directed by John Karabelas released in the spring of 2013.

Third album “Small Talk With Ghosts Before Sleep” recorded in 2019 and released in May of 2020 on limited edition vinyl and cd. In this album Minor Mine come back performing darker, sharper and noisier storytelling songs.
