Miriam Aida

Miriam Aïda is an award-winning singer from Sweden with an international following and she has
performed in Japan, UK, Brazil, France, Spain, USA, Turkey, Russia, Italy, Germany, Netherlands
and of course all around Sweden and Scandinavia.
Miriam ́ s extensive talent travels through a number of musical landscapes and since her albumdebut in 2002 she has released 8 albums as a leader and have been spotted in several national TV shows. The music of Miriam Aïda is a colorful mix of Jazz, samba from Rio, afro-Brazilian rhythms from candomblé and capoeira with influences of reggae and soul.

Miriam has a mixed background (Sweden/Morocco) and she is always moving towards a core of oneness with her audience that goes beyond nationality, culture, language, colors, religion or gender. Intimate, sincere and always groovy!

Her album "É de Lei!" was rewarded in the category ”Rhythm of the Year 2015” at Manifest Awards and she also received the price for Artist of the year 2012 at the Swedish World Music Awards with the jury ́s statement:
