Miriam Hacksaw (she/they) is a queer Malayali-American fiddler and banjoist based in New Orleans. Her music has been described as "fiddle-core," "diaspora punk," and "culturally confusing."
Miriam was the founder and frontwoman for the raw old time band Foraging and the Rattling Bones (2019-2022).
She currently performs with her sibling Rye and a rotating cast of percussionists under the name Blowgun, and tours as the fiddler for the Flotsam River Circus.
