MJ Hibbett has spent most of the past six years studying for a Phd, which he finally completed earlier this year. Not only is he now officially Doctor Hibbett but also the world's leading (and only) academic authority on the Marvel comics character Doctor Doom.
He's perhaps best known for releasing the first ever internet single, Hey Hey 16K, with his band The Validators, but has also performed live on Radio One, had a Record Of The Year in Rolling Stone, an Album Of The Day on 6Music, toured the UK and Europe, and featured in several Edinburgh Fringe shows. Next on the to-do list is an academic book about transmedia character cohesion and a children's novel called 'Dinosaur Planet'.
