1000 days after the (surfacing?) humankind was rejected from the comforts of enlightenment. Forced to the retreats of the wild, man was scattered, vulnerable, and meek. From the EastBreak to the WesternLinex mighty kingdoms all, fell. Long past were the days of prosperity and knowledge; gone again, the times of flickering light which once flowed boundlessly as the divine rivers themselves. Across the cheek of each who survived, a mark was adorned; chosen, these children of light were trusted to inherit the new world.
