MMEE’s musical journey began in 2011 when he was first introduced to electronic music through the vibrant commercial nightlife scene of Shanghai, China, a city he grew up in for many years. His move to London in 2015 changed everything. Immersing himself in the underground scene, he discovered a true sense of belonging amidst the raw rhythms of UK Garage, Jungle, DnB, Breaks, and 140. This pivotal experience became the foundation of his unique sonic identity, setting the stage for everything that followed.

This evolution is clear in his 2025 release on the Feed the Dragon label, ‘Headtop’ featuring legendary Grime MC, Killa P, which has soared to #1 on the Beatport Breaks / Breakbeat / UK Bass Top 100 Chart. Not to mention additional chart-topping success on labels such as Maraki Records, en83, Southpoint Introducing, Yosh and more. With support from the likes of My Nu Leng, Om Unit, Dread MC, Scratcha and Sarah Story, just to name a few, and features on BBC Radio 1, Boiler Room, Rinse FM, NTS Radio, Keep Hush and SWU.FM, MMEE has no intention of stopping any time soon.

A household name in Hong Kong’s underground bass music scene, MMEE performed his debut set at Clockenflap Festival in 2023. Most recently, he has supported prominent artists such as Sam Binga, MPH, and P-rallel, and regularly performs at Feed the Dragon, Umami, Dark Metaz, and a host of other events across the city. Not to mention showcasing his unique sound abroad in Taiwan and Vietnam.
