MNTNS (read "mountains") lives in the middle of a Venn diagram where admiration for late 90’s garage rock overlaps with strong Swedish pop melodies. Formed in Sweden in the pandemic year of 2021, Sofia Setterberg and Jim Almgren set out to write and produce songs with a slow but powerful burn. ‘Adagio’, which literally means slow, ignites the burn that eventually explodes into a huge soundscape, showcasing the duo’s range as a force to be reckoned with.

‘Adagio’ is the first single written, produced and mixed by MNTNS, and features drums by Matti Arvinder.
