Mode Shifter is self-taught multi instrumentalist,
singer/songwriter and producer Matt Davis. Based in
South Australia, he has been writing, recording
since an early age, lending his skills to a variety of acts
which have ultimately informed his practice as Mode
Shifter and the belief that even though music styles
are constantly changing, the fundamental idea of a
hook is still as important as it was from the beginning.
It’s what keeps us tuned in. Often guitar orientated,
Mode Shifter's music is always rhythm driven, proving rock ain't dead yet!
