GIVE UP THE GHOST // ALBUM #3 // OUT SEPT 5
HANG MY HEART OUT NOW
Modestep - The genre-blurring project of London-based musician and producer Josh Friend - is back with a brand new album, and a refreshed live band for 2025. Since breaking onto the scene in 2011 with the viral hit Sunlight, Modestep has built a reputation for combining the high-octane energy of rock with the gut-punching power of dubstep.
With billions of streams and unforgettable performances at Glastonbury, Coachella, Reading Festival, EDC, Ultra, Lost Lands, and a record-setting crowd of 750,000 at Woodstock Poland, Modestep has become a global force in live electronic music.
Now entering a new creative era led solely by Friend, Modestep straddles the line between live band and DJ project - still every bit as high-energy as ever. The debut album Evolution Theory topped charts and introduced the world to their heavy yet melodic signature style, followed by another studio album and standout EPs on Disciple Records that have cemented their legacy in the bass music world.
As the project steps boldly into 2025, Josh is preparing to release his third studio album in September - a body of work that marks both a return and a reinvention.
With a completely reimagined live show and a deeper, more emotional sound, Modestep continues to push the boundaries of electronic music while staying rooted in the underground energy that started it all.
